The Home Renovation Process

Do your research and then lets schedule your First Step.
Start with the button links on the left. You can review budgeting tools, and select you door styles, colors and finishes.
On your first consultation we have a brief discussion about your renovation to assess the project and ensure your needs align with our services. Then you can schedule an expert to review your home in person.

You can do your own In-Home Scan or we can Visit your place for Design Review
We review your scope of work, options, costs. Measurements are needed to start the design process. These are accomplished via Lidar scanning. Good plans make the production smoother. We create Floor plans, Elevations, Lighting and electrical plans. We will guide you through the process of selecting materials including Cabinets, Cabinet hardware, Countertops, Backsplash, Light fixtures, Flooring Plumbing fixtures, Appliances, , finalize design and costs to match your vision. Then we move forward with a detailed agreement and schedule. Then moving on to order materials and start the construction.

Construction Schedule Details
The 3D Remodeling team are experts in local building regulations and processes. We’ll manage all permits and paperwork, and expedite approvals needed for your construction project. During the hands-on renovation phase, your project staff oversees construction and communicates daily and ensures every detail is completed as planned, to the highest finish.
*Typical first week of a remodel is providing dust and floor protection. The demolition begins and haul away of debris. If your home was built before 1978 the EPA requires special treatment of Hazardous materials so samples and testing are required before any work begins.
*After demo is completed we move into the 2nd week on the rough electrical, plumbing, HVAC etc. We schedule rough inspections to move on the close up the wall with drywall. At 3D Remodeling we typically don't use sub contractors so we manage to save 2-3 weeks over competition that uses subs.
*Moving into the 3rd week its time for Painting and we install the cabinetry, and get things ready for a countertop template.
*While waiting for the countertops its a good time to get the flooring done. This is normally a few weeks. After countertops go in its time for a backsplash, finish electrical, plumbing and appliances.

Project Completion
*Heading into the 6th to 8th week depending on how long countertops and floors take we do all the finishing touches- cleanup, final inspections and Final walk-through.
